I guess we’ll go with “free spirit.”
He loved his Harley, and he loved his guns, and voters clearly found his gruff exterior endearing. However, since his 2006 defeat to current Senator Pat Krietlow, Zien apparently has taken the next step. I could explain, but this video pretty much says it all:
As a former constituent of Dave Zien’s, I was entertained by that video, but not surprised. Which pretty much sums up the experience of anyone who ever met Dave.
